Aston Villa have announced the signing of defender Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona for the 2023-24 season. In order to strengthen his centre-back options as Tyrone Mings is out for the rest of the season.

Sky Sports reports that Lenglet is the left-footed centre-back in the position sought by head coach Unai Emery as a replacement for Mings.
